First lesson on using my sewing machine at Aristology Café and Makery in Basingstoke. Made a cushion as my first project. Wonderful afternoon, only four of us on the course.
Congratulations Tracy on finding last weeks #freeartfridaybasingstoke.
Today's offering was dropped off at 7.30am this Morning and posted the two photos on Facebook #freeartfriday and #freeartfridaybasingstoke. Twitter wasn't playing ball and I had an appointment so had to leave it at that. However, Emily recognised the location and has collected it. Congratulations Emily!
Thank you her much to Tracy and Emily for sharing their photos.
Joining in with #freeartfriday. Using the hashtag #freeartfridaybasingstoke. We just need to get a few more people joining in! I will post a photo Friday of where the item has been displayed - then finders keepers! Let me know if you find it.
A friend shared a facebook post for Free Art Friday, and I had been asked NOT to make Christmas presents this year so: I decided to share them on to anyone who would be more welcoming of my creativity. Unfortunately 8 hours later it was still hanging from the tree I left it in in Frimley! I have had yarn storms lead more exciting lives.... Still I enjoyed the experience and now I fancy a set of hats for my next attempt and somewhere a little more public.
Spent a lovely day with some fantastic people..... lots more photos to follow. Please add to the yarn story if you have some goodies!
21st June at the Proteus Creation Space (Fairfield's, Basingstoke) we will once again join together to create a woolly master piece! On the day please come along and add your 5" squares, flowers, pompoms and creatures to our tree.
Going to the Basingstoke Big Knit at the Proteus Creation space. Come along and add your knitting/crochet to the yarn storm! Especially if you are bringing some thing with a monster theme but squares and all shapes are invited! 10.00 - 16.00
