These may look a little odd but they have been a WIP for over a month now. TUTAAT (Toe Up Two At A Time) - with ribbed soles for extra stretch to support arthritic feet and ankles! Fingers crossed they are completed by Christmas. It's slow progress as they are knitted on 2.25mm needles.
I have been busy with www.piggrylls.co.uk, check out the website for the Christmas Piggies Giveaway. We have raised over £500 for the Elizabeth Hall Cancer Care Unit, would be really nice to make it to £600. I have also been crocheting Owls to raise money for a laptop for Audleys to use in the creative art groups. As fast as I make them, they are selling! Took a little time out today to make myself an Owl Pouch, very inspired by http://bunnymummy-jacquie.blogspot.co.uk/.
I have been teaching creative arts and crafts for over 15 years now. My current interests are focused on knitting and crochet. I have an A Level in Art, a Certificate of Education and a Degree in Occupational Therapy. I have a special interest in adapting craft skills to make them more accessible to people with disabilities.
